Mumbai: In a surprising crossover of technology and television, Bill Gates, the tech mogul and philanthropist, is set to make a special virtual appearance in an upcoming episode of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2, starring Smriti Irani as Tulsi.
A promo released by StarPlus on Wednesday shows Gates greeting Tulsi with a warm “Jai Shri Krishna” over a video call. A delighted Tulsi responds with excitement, expressing how thrilled she is to see Gates connecting with her family from across the world. Gates, in his signature calm tone, replies, “Thank you, Tulsi ji.”
Sharing the teaser, StarPlus wrote, “Iss baar #KyunkiSaasBhiKabhiBahuThi ke beech, ek naya rishta jud raha hai—sehat ka, samvedna ka, aur badlaav ka… Do alag duniyaan, ek hi maqsad: maa aur bachche ki sehat har ghar tak pahunchani hai.”
Fans are abuzz over this unexpected collaboration between a global changemaker and India’s most iconic TV family. The show’s second season, which began airing on July 29, 2025, has already reignited nostalgia among viewers.
