Sivasagar: Nazira College Football Team emerged champions of the All Assam Prize Money Aideu Cup Football Tournament 2025 after registering a convincing 3–1 victory over Neghereting Football Eleven in the final match. The much-awaited final was played at the playground of Aideubari Higher Secondary School in Nazira Co-District.
Dominating the title clash, Nazira College displayed superior teamwork and attacking prowess. Krishanu starred in the final by scoring two crucial goals that paved the way for his team’s triumph. For his match-winning performance, Krishanu was adjudged the Man of the Match. Another standout performer from Nazira College, Pragyayan Sundar Gogoi, was honoured with the Player of the Tournament award for his consistent and impressive display throughout the competition.
Nazira College players also swept several other individual honours. Ricky Bhumij was named Best Defender, Krishanu Mesh finished as the Highest Goal Scorer of the tournament, and Samiran Baruah won the award for the Best Goal of the Tournament. The Best Goalkeeper award went to Suman Ganju of Neghereting Football Eleven for his commendable performance.

As tournament champions, Nazira College received the winner’s trophy along with a cash prize of ₹1 lakh. Runners-up Neghereting Football Eleven of Golaghat were awarded a trophy and ₹50,000 in cash. The Best Disciplined Team award was bagged by the Charaideo Football Team, who received a trophy and ₹5,000.
The final match was formally inaugurated by Mayur Borgohain, Chairman of the Tai Ahom Development Council. Assam Football Association Treasurer and Joint Secretary of the Assam Olympic Association, Hiren Gogoi, along with several other dignitaries, were present to grace the occasion and encourage the players.
