It is pertinent to mention here that the Itakhola area which shares boundary with neighbouring state Arunachal Pradesh has presently become a safe place for illegal trading, drug peddling, illicit liquor dealing etc. The police team manages to apprehend the peddlers like small fishes but big fishes are far behind from the frying pan. Until and unless the police team manages to bust the racket behind the network of drug peddling and bring the mastermind behind the bar the illegal trade will continue to ruin the addicted people which will hamper the socio-economic condition of the victim families of the drug addicted.
