GUWAHATI: Assam Finance Minister Jayanta Malla Baruah reviewed key issues and priorities of the Finance (Economic Affairs) Department during a meeting with officials at Janata Bhawan, Dispur.
The meeting was held in the presence of the department’s secretary and focused on departmental priorities and measures to strengthen the state’s economic and financial framework.
Baruah emphasised the importance of the Economic Affairs vertical in ensuring sound financial management, strengthening economic governance and supporting Assam’s sustained growth and development.
