Nagaon, April 30: A theft was reported at Nagaon Bangali Primary School in Assam’s Nagaon after unidentified individuals allegedly broke into the premises during the night of April 29 and took away several items.
According to local sources, the miscreants forced entry by breaking the locks of multiple rooms within the school before removing kitchen utensils, brass articles and other valuables stored on the premises.
Residents in the vicinity also raised concerns that the intruders may have consumed alcohol inside the campus, as drinking glasses were reportedly found scattered inside one of the classrooms after the incident.
