Rupahihat, May 6: A fourth-grade employee of Kawoimari FRU Hospital in Rupahihat has been arrested for allegedly attempting to sexually assault a nurse while she was on duty, police said.
The accused, identified as Nur Mohammad, allegedly tried to force himself on the nurse inside a hospital room on the night of May 1 while she was carrying out her duties, according to the complaint filed by the victim.
Following the incident, the nurse approached Rupahihat Police and lodged a formal complaint. Based on her statement, a case was registered and the accused was taken into custody.
Police have initiated further investigation into the matter.
