Guwahati: Actor Vijay Deverakonda had a narrow escape when his car was involved in an accident near Undavalli in Jogulamba Gadwala district, authorities confirmed on Thursday.
The incident occurred when Vijay’s Lexus collided with a Bolero that suddenly made a right turn, causing an unexpected crash. Sources confirmed that the actor was inside the vehicle at the time but emerged unscathed. Officials reported that the mishap caused only minor damage to the car, and no injuries were reported.

Fans and well-wishers were reassured after official statements confirmed that Vijay Deverakonda was safe and unharmed following the accident.
This comes shortly after the actor visited Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s Prasanthi Nilayam ashram with his family on Sunday. The news also follows reports of his alleged engagement to actress Rashmika Mandanna at his Hyderabad residence on October 3, a private ceremony attended by close family members. The couple is expected to have a destination wedding in February 2026, though neither has officially confirmed the engagement or wedding details.
