Guwahati: The Inter-Academy Under-17 Football Tournament, organized by the Guwahati Sports Association (GSA), will kick off at the Pandu Railway Stadium on June 26, providing a platform for emerging football talents from across the region. A total of eight academy teams will participate in the competition, which aims to promote grassroots football and identify promising young players. The tournament will be played on a knockout-cum-league basis, with matches scheduled over several days at the historic Pandu Railway Stadium.
Organizers said the event is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen youth football development in Assam by offering young athletes exposure to competitive match situations.
