Itanagar, May 1: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu participated in the ICPP Growth Conference 2026 held in New Delhi, where discussions centred on key themes of nation-building, education, tourism, cultural preservation and economic development.
The conference, hosted by the Isaac Centre for Public Policy, brought together policymakers, experts and leaders to deliberate on strategies aimed at shaping India’s long-term development trajectory.
Addressing the gathering, Khandu underscored Arunachal Pradesh’s potential, describing the state as both resilient and resource-rich. He highlighted ongoing initiatives such as the Vibrant Villages Programme, expansion of highway infrastructure and hydropower projects designed to improve connectivity and strengthen local communities.
The Chief Minister emphasised that sustained investment in people, alongside the creation of opportunities, is critical for achieving inclusive growth and ensuring long-term progress.
