Pema Khandu Stresses People-Centric Governance at Arunachal Cabinet Meeting

ITANAGAR, Oct 11: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu has stressed that government decisions must deliver tangible benefits to citizens, reiterating the state government’s focus on people-centric governance.

Chairing a Cabinet meeting, Khandu emphasised that policy decisions should go beyond administrative formalities and translate into meaningful improvements in people’s lives.

He highlighted the need to place public welfare at the centre of decision-making, with particular emphasis on addressing citizens’ needs and improving service delivery.

The Chief Minister said government initiatives should be assessed on their actual impact on the ground to ensure that policies and programmes meet public expectations. He also underscored the importance of effective implementation and measurable outcomes for decisions taken at the Cabinet level.
