Guwahati: The Sitaram Chhawcharia Memorial U-19 Cricket Tournament is set to commence from April 20 at the NFRSA Stadium in Maligaon, promising an exciting showcase of emerging cricketing talent. Organised by Bud Cricket Club, the tournament will feature a total of 12 teams competing for top honours. The event aims to provide a competitive platform for young cricketers to demonstrate their skills and gain valuable match experience.
The opening match will see hosts Bud Cricket Club take on Abu Nechim Ahmed Cricket Academy, setting the tone for what is expected to be a closely contested tournament. Officials stated that the competition will serve as an important stepping stone for budding players aspiring to make their mark at higher levels of the game.
