Three Arrested in Nagaon Motorcycle Theft Racket, Five Bikes Recovered

Juria Police in Assam’s Nagaon district have arrested three alleged members of a motorcycle theft racket and recovered five stolen bikes during raids at several locations.

The arrested individuals were identified as Muksidur Rahman, Safir Uddin and Bina Ahmed.

Police said the trio was allegedly involved in a motorcycle theft racket that had been operating in the area for a long period. The accused allegedly stole motorcycles from different locations and concealed them at undisclosed places.

Acting on information about the racket, police conducted raids at multiple locations under Juria police station and recovered five stolen motorcycles.

The three accused were being questioned as investigators sought to determine the extent of the racket and identify other people allegedly involved.

Further investigation is underway.
