Nagaon, May 9: Continuing its crackdown against narcotics trafficking, Assam Police carried out an anti-drug operation under Kachua Police Station and arrested a woman with suspected heroin in Nagaon district.
The operation was led by Officer-in-Charge Mridul Bora, during which police apprehended the accused, identified as Golapi Begum, from the Alitangani area.
During the raid, police recovered 55 plastic containers containing approximately 8.68 grams of suspected heroin from her possession.
The accused was subsequently taken into custody, and further legal proceedings in connection with the case are currently underway.
