All matches will begin at 4:30 pm local time, with the toss taking place at 4 pm. The series will mark Australia’s first ODI tour of Pakistan since 2022, when the hosts won the three-match series 2-1. Earlier this year, Pakistan also registered a 3-0 clean sweep over Australia in a T20I series in Lahore.

Several senior Australian players, including Pat Cummins, Josh Hazlewood, Mitchell Starc and Travis Head, are likely to be rested ahead of the upcoming Test series against Bangladesh. Meanwhile, players such as Alex Carey, Adam Zampa and Marnus Labuschagne are expected to feature in the ODI squad. The series will also serve as important preparation for both teams ahead of the next edition of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup scheduled next year.
