The NSS, a government-sponsored public service programme, seeks to develop students’ personalities through voluntary community service. Institutions participating in the programme undertake activities focused on areas such as social awareness, health, education, environmental protection and community development. AAU’s recognition comes as the university continues to strengthen its role in community engagement alongside its core responsibilities in agricultural education, research and extension.
