Sports Desk: Cristiano Ronaldo expressed immense joy after winning his first-ever Saudi Pro League title with Al Nassr FC following the club’s commanding 4-1 victory over Damac FC on Friday night. Ronaldo played a crucial role in the title-winning encounter by scoring twice as Al Nassr secured their 11th league crown on the final day of the season, finishing ahead of arch-rivals Al Hilal SFC. Soon after the triumph, the Portuguese superstar shared his excitement through social media. Posting on Instagram, Ronaldo wrote, “It means so much to us YALLA NASSR!” In another celebratory post, he simply captioned, “CHAMPIONS!!!!!”
Al Nassr also marked the historic achievement with a special social media tribute. The club uploaded a video showing Ronaldo joyfully beating a drum during the celebrations. The caption praised the forward’s leadership throughout the campaign, saying that while he usually leads the celebrations, on this occasion he himself became the centre of celebration. The league triumph is particularly significant as it marks Al Nassr’s first Saudi Pro League title since Ronaldo joined the club in January 2023. Alongside Ronaldo’s brace, former Liverpool FC winger Sadio Mane and French star Kingsley Coman also scored in the decisive victory.

Ronaldo has now netted more than 100 goals for Al Nassr across three seasons in Saudi Arabia, further strengthening his remarkable legacy in world football. The latest success adds another major trophy to his glittering career and makes him one of the few players to win domestic league titles in Portugal, England, Spain, Italy and Saudi Arabia. The 41-year-old football icon is also preparing for another milestone as he is expected to represent Portugal national football team at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which would mark his sixth appearance at football’s biggest tournament. The Saudi Pro League crown becomes Ronaldo’s second trophy with Al Nassr after helping the club win the 2023 Arab Club Champions Cup, where he also scored twice in the final against Al Hilal.
