Imphal, May 1: Security forces on April 30 arrested a man identified as S Chakho from Makhan Centre Village in Manipur’s Senapati district during a search operation, officials said.
During the operation, personnel recovered a 7.65 mm pistol along with a magazine, two live rounds of ammunition of the same calibre, a mobile phone, and an Aadhaar card from his possession.
The accused was apprehended under the jurisdiction of Senapati Police Station, and authorities have initiated further investigation to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the recovery and any possible links.
