Sixty-six-year-old Anjali Gogoi, a retired Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) from Assam, is undergoing treatment at a private nursing home in Dibrugarh after falling critically ill.
Gogoi, a resident of No. 1 Hilaidari village under Dhakuakhana co-district, has been undergoing treatment at Aditya Nursing Home in Dibrugarh for the past month.
Her prolonged medical treatment has placed a financial burden on her family, which is now seeking assistance to continue her treatment. Her son and daughter have appealed to people across the state to extend financial support for their mother’s medical care.
The family has also urged the local MLA and Assam Chief Minister to provide financial assistance during the difficult period.
