Guwahati, March 18: The Aam Aadmi Party on March 17 intensified its campaign for the upcoming Assam Assembly Elections by announcing its second list of candidates, naming six nominees for strategically significant constituencies across the state.
In a notable move, the party has fielded Ballav Patra from Dispur, a prominent constituency that houses the state’s administrative capital, indicating its focus on strengthening its urban footprint. Pranab Priyangshu Dutta has been nominated from Jorhat, another key political centre in Upper Assam.
