Guwahati, April 5: Dibisha Mahanta, daughter of senior leader Keshab Mahanta, on April 5 carried out an extensive door-to-door campaign in Jakhalabandha, reaching out to voters ahead of the Assembly elections.
Actively engaging with residents in the Garubandha area under Jakhalabandha Gaon Panchayat in Kaliabor, she visited multiple households, interacting with locals and appealing for support in favour of her father. During the outreach, she also met elderly residents and sought their blessings, reinforcing a personal connect with the electorate.
Though not an established political figure, Dibisha Mahanta has been emerging as a visible presence in grassroots campaigning, representing her father in public interactions and local outreach efforts.
Earlier in the day, she also attended two election meetings in the Garubandha area, where she interacted with residents and highlighted the importance of voter participation in the upcoming polls.
