The Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB), Division-I, has made it mandatory for students appearing in the HSLC Examination 2027 to maintain individual bank accounts.
According to an official notification issued on August 11, the form-fill-up process for the examination is tentatively scheduled to commence in the first week of October 2026. Students will be required to provide their bank account numbers while submitting their examination forms.
The board has instructed all Inspectors of Schools to direct heads of educational institutions in their respective districts to ensure that Class X students open individual bank accounts before the form-fill-up process begins, wherever such accounts have not already been opened.
The directive was issued by N.N. Nath, ACS, Secretary of ASSEB, Division-I, from the board’s headquarters at Bamunimaidam in Guwahati.
Schools have been asked to complete the necessary process well in advance so that students do not encounter difficulties when the HSLC 2027 examination forms are submitted.
