The 12th edition of the Manipur Sangai Festival came to a close on 30 November at the Bhagyachandra open-air theatre, where Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla highlighted the event’s growing importance as a platform for national and international outreach. The closing ceremony drew a diverse crowd, including tourism stakeholders from across India and abroad, marking the end of this year’s celebration on what Bhalla described as a note of unity and cultural pride despite the challenges faced.
